Heather Patterson is an award-winning self taught artist who has been painting professionally for over 25 years. Over the course of her career, Heather has exhibited in many venues, including Ceres Gallery NYC, Ward-Nasse Gallery NYC, Gallery 52 Rye, Marshlands Conservancy Rye, Rye Arts Center, Rye Free Reading Room, Rye Nature Center, and Kitty House. Her work can also be found in private collections throughout Westchester. A Florida native, Heather spent over ten years living in Rye, where she spent a lot of time putting her artistic talents to use in multiple fundraisers throughout the community as well as developing and producing an independent arts and music festival for 3 years at Rye Playland. Heather currently resides with her partner, musician Charlie Happylife in Stamford, CT.
Heather takes great joy in helping others to develop their own artistic outlet. She spent 5 summers as the creative arts director at two sleepaway camps. She developed and led a beginner painting class at AI Friedman in Portchester and has led numerous sip and paint events, both public and private in Westchester and Connecticut. Currently Heather is also the Custom Framing Manager at A.I. Friedman and naturally, is a huge fan of Bob Ross.
